[Featured Stock] Dasan Networks Starts Participation in President Yoon's 1,200 Trillion Reconstruction... Ukraine 1,000km Communication and Power Grid Restoration

Dasan Networks is showing strong performance. The expectation that a strategy will be actively established to participate in the post-war reconstruction projects in Ukraine, coinciding with President Yoon Seok-yeol's attendance at the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) summit from the 10th to the 15th, appears to be influencing the stock price. Ukraine's infrastructure, including power, telecommunications, transportation, and water supply facilities, was damaged due to the war with Russia. The Ukrainian government estimates that $90 billion (approximately 1,200 trillion KRW) will be spent on city reconstruction.

As of 10:47 AM on the 7th, Dasan Networks is trading at 5,950 KRW, up 12.26% from the previous day.

President Yoon will attend the NATO summit for the second consecutive year following last year. During the NATO summit held in Vilnius, Lithuania, on the 11th and 12th, President Yoon plans to hold individual bilateral meetings with more than 10 countries, including the Netherlands and Norway.

Following this, President Yoon will make an official state visit to Poland and begin a full-scale economic diplomacy schedule. In Poland, three economic events are planned: the Korea-Poland Business Forum, a corporate meeting for cooperation in Ukraine reconstruction, and a meeting with local business operators.

Dasan Networks has decided to participate in a pilot project for restoring Ukraine's telecommunications and power grids. They are discussing the construction of modern ultra-high voltage underground cable facilities over a 1,000 km section spanning the war-damaged eastern and southern border areas with Ukraine's state-owned power company, Ukrenergo.

The telecommunications and power grids, which were the primary targets of Russian military strikes, are areas where Dasan Networks has secured competitiveness through long-term business operations. Having been conducting business in Ukraine since 2019, their familiarity with local conditions also positively influences their participation in reconstruction. Nagilju, the head of Dasan Networks Europe, told a media outlet, "Ukraine's industrial foundation, including power and telecommunications networks as well as power plants, is currently destroyed. We expect that Dasan Group's capabilities can help Ukraine's reconstruction."

Mr. Na concretized the business by holding meetings with Ukrainian government officials around the International Energy Cluster annual general meeting held in Kyiv on the 7th of last month.

Resolving energy supply issues is one of the key elements of Ukraine's reconstruction. With natural gas supplies from Russia cut off, the Ukrainian government is focusing on abundant timber resources. DTS, a subsidiary of Dasan Networks, possesses design technology for generators that use wood as fuel. They plan to quickly produce prototypes suitable for the Ukrainian environment.
