Dobong-gu to Open 'Dobong Healing Oasis Water Playground' for Free on the 14th

Water Playground to Operate from July 14 to August 13 at Sungkyunkwan University Baseball Field Site in Dobong-dong

Operating from 10 AM to 5 PM, July 14 to August 13 (Closed every Monday)

Various Water Play Facilities, Children's Survival Swimming Education, and Event Programs Available

Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) will operate the fun and exciting '2023 Dobong Healing Oasis Water Playground' free of charge for one month from July 14 to August 13 at the Sungkyunkwan University baseball field site (30 Dobong-ro 168-gil) in Dobong-dong.

To provide a cool healing space to beat the heat during elementary school summer vacation, Dobong-gu has prepared various water play facilities that children from toddlers to young kids can enjoy, including a prefabricated swimming pool, air pool, giant tube water sled slide, and shaded Mom & Baby Pool at the Sungkyunkwan University baseball field site.

In addition to water play facilities, food trucks and snack bars will be operated, offering a variety of food options, air-conditioned healing rest areas, Mongolian tents, and pyeongsang (raised wooden platforms) for convenience. There will also be children's survival swimming education and weekend events for kids to enjoy.

Since the facilities are used by young children, utmost attention is given to safety. Safety personnel will be stationed throughout the venue at all times, with emergency medical staff and an ambulance on-site daily to prepare for any accidents. The water playground facilities will be regularly inspected, and water quality will be managed periodically to maintain a safe and pleasant environment.

The water playground will operate from Tuesday to Sunday, 10 AM to 5 PM, and will be closed every Monday for water quality maintenance. As this event is free for all residents this year, a large number of visitors are expected, so parking spaces may be limited. It is recommended to use public transportation or walk to the venue.

Visitors must wear swimming caps when using the water playground, and toddlers are required to wear waterproof diapers. For safety reasons, pets are not allowed on the premises.
