The U.S. Embassy in Korea posted a photo of the congratulatory cake sent by President Yoon and his wife on Twitter. In the congratulatory message, the couple wrote, "Congratulations on the Independence Day of the United States, a righteous ally for freedom."
The U.S. Embassy in Korea expressed gratitude, saying, "We thank President Yoon for sending delicious cake and congratulations on the 247th Independence Day of the United States."
Foreign Minister Park Jin also posted on Twitter that day, saying, "Congratulations on the 247th Independence Day of the United States," and added, "Today, we reflect on the great power of freedom, which is also the foundation of the Korea-U.S. alliance."
Minister Park further emphasized, "Based on shared values and our vision of a global pivotal state, the Korea-U.S. alliance will continue to develop as a righteous alliance contributing to global freedom, peace, and prosperity."
