Integrity Communication Meeting Held with Employees in Corruption-Prone Areas Presided Over by the District Mayor
Seeking Ways to Improve Integrity and Reform Systems in Corruption-Prone Areas through Communication with Field Staff
Gangbuk-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Lee Soon-hee) held an 'Integrity Communication Meeting' with employees responsible for corruption-prone areas on the 29th of last month.
On this day, Lee Soon-hee, Mayor of Gangbuk-gu, shared opinions with 14 employees in charge of tasks such as permits and subsidy payments regarding ways to improve work in corruption-prone areas.
The meeting was conducted in a free discussion format covering topics such as sharing directions for anti-corruption and integrity policies, practicing proactive administration, seeking ways to improve passive administration, and proposing system improvements in corruption-prone areas.
The attending employees expressed their thoughts, saying, "It was more relatable to listen to the difficulties employees face and share improvement plans together," and "We will not repeat old work practices and will actively carry out administration in line with recent environmental changes."
Lee Soon-hee, Mayor of Gangbuk-gu, stated, “I hope this meeting, which was not a rigid conference but a freely communicating session, provided an opportunity for employees to share opinions for work improvement,” and added, “Gangbuk-gu will continue to build an open organizational culture that communicates more actively.”
