As soon as I rush to work and sit down, there’s one thing I do right away. It’s checking today’s snacks. It’s my own little happiness circuit to endure a tiring day. My desk drawer is soon my treasure chest (called that but actually a pantry). It’s full of treats like biscuits given by friends (also known as coworkers) to cheer me up, jellies, candies, chocolates handed over by seniors and juniors passing by. But the top of my desk is different. Although it’s filled with all sorts of miscellaneous items, it’s a space that can’t be filled with edible things. Still, there’s always a snack occupying my desk. Like paying rent, it comes with me when I come to work and always holds a fixed spot. Of course, it changes every day. No snacks, no work, no way!!
To boost the joy of working friends, I, who am serious about snacks, have picked out a few treats. I carefully chose them considering health as well... So, let’s cheer up until the end of the workday!
10:00 AM Georgia Craft Low-Calorie Latte
A day without coffee? I just can’t imagine it. How could I open my eyes and sit still without it? But my favorite latte somehow settled right next to me. It became part of me without permission and turned into my weight. That’s also why I settled on Americano. Thanks to this guy, I’m drinking latte again. Of course, I shouldn’t drink too much. Because it’s low-calorie. Still, I never want to miss this sweetness that neutralizes the bitterness of life. When you’re feeling down, don’t be upset?just drink it.
2:00 PM Byubit Cheonggul Collagen Jelly
Actually, my favorite might be the jelly sold at the supermarket, but the one I take every day is this jelly. Especially, I like the Cheonggul (green tangerine) collagen jelly; it’s tangy and sweet, making me want to eat it again and again. The green mucin jelly also tastes like sweet apple, so my hand keeps reaching for it like Shrimp Crackers, but since I have to eat only one a day, I have to restrain myself. If you’re like me, who gets reluctant to age after a few days, you’ll like this jelly. If you feel a bit empty after a meal and want something sweet, just tear it open quickly.
5:00 PM Pulmuone Greek Compote
Do you really like Greek yogurt but feel a bit tired of it because you’ve eaten too much? That’s me. I’ve been trying various ways like sprinkling nuts or adding honey, and recently I met this guy. What’s compote? It’s a French-style fruit stew. It feels like a mix of sweet jam and fresh fruit. You just sprinkle blueberry, apricot peach, or mango hibiscus flavors on savory and chewy Greek yogurt. It’s another version of the yogurt with crackers you squeeze and eat, but I was surprised by the amount?it’s more than I expected. I could taste the fruit flavor until I finished all the Greek yogurt. The crackers in the squeeze yogurt are small in quantity, so I always ate them sparingly. Fresh and sweet, if you prepare this before leaving work, your way home will feel more satisfying.
