A gas station has appeared that charges a 'refueling fee' in exchange for pumping gas on behalf of drivers. Netizens expressed outrage, saying that after delivery fees, packaging fees, and hall fees (costs paid when dining in a hall), now there is even a refueling fee.

Recently, a gas station in Bucheon became a hot topic on various social networking services (SNS). It used the lowest price to lure consumers and then charged a separate refueling fee as a 'trick.' This business recently started charging 2,000 won separately from the fuel price under the name of 'Quick Refueling Service.'

Reviews from visitors to the business vary. Mr. A, who said, "I saw the sign saying 'Quick Refueling Service 2,000 won' and wondered what it was, but since I urgently needed gas, I went in," added, "I was told that I had to pay an additional 2,000 won service fee for helping to refuel quickly."

Feeling baffled by this newly introduced charge, Mr. A asked, "The machine does the refueling, so what's the hurry? If I fill up slowly, do you not charge?" The gas station replied, "No, that's not the case." When Mr. A said he would refuel 'self-service,' this was also refused. Ultimately, this service required payment unconditionally.

Mr. B, who visited in May, said, "I came because the fuel price in the neighborhood was cheap, but they charged an additional 2,000 won. (I was angry, but) my gas was running out, so I gritted my teeth and filled up."

Consumers who deliberately came from afar for cheap fuel felt betrayed. Motorcycle users who often refuel less than 10,000 won complained that the fee was more expensive than the fuel itself.

The operator of the gas station said in an interview with Channel A, "We pay the staff's salaries by charging the 'Quick Refueling Service' fee. Originally, we should charge at least 3,000 won for this to help the gas station as well."
