This season, facilities where you can enjoy water activities regardless of weather conditions such as blazing sun or heavy rain are gaining more popularity. In Asan, Chungnam, known as the hometown of hot springs, you can find a resort facility that offers a water park, health improvement, and relaxation all in one place. It is 'Paradise Spa Dogo,' operated by Paradise Group with the concept of a restorative hot spring.

According to the related industry on the 2nd, Paradise Spa Dogo, which opened in 2008, has recently renovated its indoor and outdoor spa facilities with an investment of about 4.5 billion KRW, receiving favorable reviews from visitors. This place aims to be a restorative hot spring where three generations can enjoy together, equipped with a balneotherapy pool, a large hot spring bath with sauna using warm sulfur hot spring water all year round, and various water play facilities. It has transformed into an 'enter treatment' space where healing and play can both be experienced.


According to Paradise Group, the hot spring water at Paradise Spa Dogo is sulfur hot spring water, which is excellent for relieving muscle pain and effective for alleviating fatigue, stress, atopy, and skin psoriasis. Paradise Spa Dogo operates not only the hot spring baths but also all indoor and outdoor pools with sulfur hot spring water. The detailed facilities include an indoor balneotherapy pool, outdoor lazy river pool, event spa, outdoor spa, kids' land, wave pool, aqua play and regular pool, large hot spring bath, and open-air bath.


Among these, the outdoor lazy river pool has a water flow speed of 1 meter per second along a 150-meter course and operates all year round, allowing visitors to enjoy it cool in summer and warm in winter. Following the lazy river pool leads to a space connected to the indoor balneotherapy pool. The indoor area is spacious and comfortable, modeled after Germany's 'Badehaus.'

Efforts have also been made to offer food as well as water play facilities. New menu items such as king rib seolleongtang (beef rib soup), seaweed soup from Gijang, chadol (beef brisket) mung bean sprout ramen, and Uni Jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles) have been introduced, and an Aqua Bar is operated where simple snacks, alcoholic beverages, and drinks can be ordered. The seaweed soup from Gijang uses recipes received from Paradise City and Hotel Busan, and fresh ingredients are directly sourced from Gijang-gun, Busan, famous for its seaweed, making it enjoyable even for young children. The rice used is organic rice grown directly at Paradise Spa Dogo without pesticides or chemical fertilizers, considering consumers' health. This rice has obtained the 'Eco-friendly Organic Agricultural Product Certification Mark.'


Paradise Spa Dogo also operates a 'Caravan Camping Site.' It offers beautiful scenery where the red sunset of the West Coast blends with rural landscapes. The site consists of 30 standard caravans for 4 people and 20 deluxe caravans for 6 people, making it the largest scale in Korea. Guests staying overnight in the caravans can use the spa and hot springs for free on the check-in day, and hot spring use is free on the check-out day as well.


Paradise Spa Dogo, reachable within about two hours from the metropolitan area, operates a 'Night Spa' from 5 PM to 9 PM every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays starting in May, ahead of the water play season. A representative from Paradise Spa Dogo said, "Night Spa tickets are relatively affordable and easily accessible, making them popular among those who want to enjoy water play as a day trip."
