UK Media, Citing Close Associate: "No One Currently Dating"
British model Naomi Campbell (53) has reportedly welcomed her second child, a son. Until recently, there was no visible baby bump, leading to speculation that she may have used a surrogate.
On the 29th (local time), Campbell posted a photo on her Instagram holding a newborn and holding the baby's hand, along with the caption, "My little love, your existence has been more precious than anything since the moment you blessed us. You need to know you are surrounded by love. Welcome, Babyboy."
She also left a message saying, "It is never too late to become a mother."
However, she did not disclose detailed information about when the baby was born or whether she gave birth herself.
Campbell attended the Cannes Film Festival held in May and the recent Paris Louis Vuitton fashion show, showing her usual perfect supermodel appearance rather than that of a pregnant woman. This has raised the possibility that she gave birth through a surrogate.
The British daily newspaper Daily Mail, citing sources close to Campbell, reported that she gave birth to a son via surrogate in Los Angeles, USA, on the 24th. It also added that Campbell is raising the child alone and currently has no partner.
In 2021, Campbell announced the birth of her first daughter. Since then, she has rarely mentioned her daughter, occasionally sharing photos on social media but never revealing her name.
However, Campbell mentioned the possibility of having a second child in the March 2022 issue of British magazine Vogue. She said, "Only a handful of people know that I have a child. That child is the greatest blessing I could imagine. It is the best thing I have ever done."
Born in May 1970, Campbell was a supermodel who dominated the global fashion scene in the 1990s. She was the first Black model to grace the cover of Time magazine.
