The Saemaeul Association of Hwajeong 1-dong, Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, recently announced on the 30th that it held a 'Love Kimchi Sharing Event.'
About 30 members from the Saemaeul Council and Saemaeul Women's Association participated in this event, delivering freshly made young radish and napa cabbage kimchi along with 40 boxes of ramen to 50 single-parent and elderly households living alone.

Yoon Oh-young, president of the Hwajeong 1-dong Saemaeul Association, said, "Thinking of our neighbors enjoying the delicious food naturally brings a smile to my face."
Kang Kyung-hee, president of the Saemaeul Women's Association, said, "I hope the cool young radish kimchi will bring back appetites lost during the hot summer days."
Meanwhile, the Hwajeong 1-dong Saemaeul Association practices the happiness of sharing by making and distributing various types of kimchi every year to help neighbors in need, and actively participates in village cleanup activities.
