Organizer: "Simple exhaustion... No health issues"
At an event in South Korea featuring Hollywood actor Tom Cruise, a fan collapsed after waiting for a long time.
On the 29th at 7 p.m., a red carpet event for the movie 'Mission: Impossible ? Dead Reckoning PART ONE' (Mission: Impossible 7) was held on the first floor of Lotte World Mall in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
Many fans had gathered early hours before the event started to wait for Tom Cruise.
One fan waiting to see Tom Cruise fainted at their spot and was transported by ambulance by on-site staff. It is currently reported that there are no serious health issues.
The organizers explained, "It was not a compression accident," adding, "It was simply a case of exhaustion." They further stated, "The fan received first aid and recovered," and "The fan later attended the invited premiere screening of the movie."
Attending the red carpet event that day were Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, Pom Klementieff, Hayley Atwell, and Vanessa Kirby, among others.
Tom Cruise showed exceptional fan service by signing autographs and taking photos for over an hour for fans who had waited for him a long time.
Meanwhile, Tom Cruise visited Korea for the 11th time to promote 'Mission: Impossible 7,' which opens on the 12th of next month. The movie depicts the story of Ethan Hunt (played by Tom Cruise) and the IMF team tracking a mysterious and powerful enemy to prevent a new weapon that threatens all humanity from falling into the wrong hands.
