- Launch of Premium Residential Brand 'Pentville', First Debut in Sejong City
- 2 Basement Floors to 6 Above Ground, 56 Urban Lifestyle Housing Units, 14 Officetel Units, Total 70 Units
A high-end brand residential complex will be supplied in Sejong Special Self-Governing City.
KD Co., Ltd. is introducing 'Pentvill Sejong' located in the 3rd Living Zone of Sejong Special Self-Governing City. The complex spans from two basement floors to six above-ground floors, with a total floor area of approximately 12,419㎡, consisting of 56 urban-style residential units, 14 officetel units, and neighborhood living facilities. It follows a pre-construction and post-sale method, allowing residents to directly see and verify the living space from the location environment to the complex conditions.
'Pentvill Sejong' is the first project independently constructed and developed by KD Co., Ltd. since launching the 'Pentvill' brand, raising high expectations. It plans to provide a pleasant living environment by promoting a high-end residential culture beyond the limited space of a home. At the same time, it is expected to maximize residential satisfaction by consolidating the construction know-how accumulated so far.
The 3rd Living Zone, where the complex is located, is considered a prime location within Sejong City. It offers excellent proximity to workplaces such as Sejong City Hall, Sejong Office of Education, and Sejong Tax Office, and as the gateway location of the 3rd Living Zone, it allows quick access to the Daejeon (Banseok) and Gongju areas.
Regarding transportation, the BRT station and Sejong Express Intercity Bus Terminal are nearby, providing excellent accessibility to the metropolitan area. The Daejeon Area 2nd Outer Ring Expressway is scheduled to open by 2030. This will enable a one-hour living zone connecting four major cities and provinces including Sejong City in the Chungcheong region.
Additionally, the Daejeon?Sejong?Chungbuk Metropolitan Railroad Sejong Terminal Station is planned to be newly established near the complex, further improving transportation conditions. According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport’s 4th National Railroad Network Construction Plan, a new metropolitan railroad is being planned for the Daejeon?Sejong section. In January, the Ministry announced plans to link this metropolitan railroad with the Gyeongbu Line and introduce GTX-level trains, raising expectations for the ripple effects of its opening.
Many additional development projects are also planned. These include the Sejong National Assembly Building (scheduled for 2027), the installation of the President’s second office, and the Sejong Smart National Industrial Complex (scheduled for 2028), which are expected to attract a large influx of government-related workers and demand. The Sejong Smart National Industrial Complex is projected to employ about 19,000 workers and generate an economic effect of 20.6 trillion KRW over 30 years. The Sejong Joint Campus (scheduled for 2024) will house five universities including Seoul National University and the Korea Development Institute. Recently, the government revised Sejong City’s basic direction to become a ‘practical administrative capital,’ further raising expectations.
Moreover, a comprehensive stadium is being promoted near the complex, with completion targeted for 2026. The 2027 Summer Universiade is scheduled to be held there, and the four cities and provinces in the Chungcheong region anticipate an economic ripple effect of approximately 2.07 trillion KRW from hosting this international-scale large event. A 36-hole park golf course meeting national competition standards (scheduled for 2024) is also planned near the complex.
For living infrastructure, residents can access Costco, Sejong Special Self-Governing City Hall, government offices, various hospitals, and commercial facilities. Educational institutions including Daepyeong Kindergarten, Daepyeong Elementary School, Geumho Middle School, and Boram Middle and High Schools are all located nearby, providing an excellent environment for children’s education.
The residential facilities offer a variety of types, with urban-style residential units ranging from 59 to 82㎡ in exclusive area and officetels from 73 to 98㎡. The urban-style residential units incorporate attic designs (except for some units) for practical space utilization, and a 3-Bay layout in a slab-type style (with some irregular types) to provide spacious and comfortable living environments even in small units. As a high-end brand residential complex, it features hotel-style premium bathrooms and designs spacious dressing rooms to enhance storage efficiency.
