Heavy rain is expected nationwide tomorrow (29th).


According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 28th, the expected rainfall for the 29th to 30th is 100-200mm in northern Gyeonggi, Honam, and Jeju; 50-120mm in Seoul, Incheon, southern Gyeonggi, inland Gangwon, Gangwon mountains, Chungcheong, Yeongnam, and the West Sea 5 islands; 20-80mm on the east coast of Gangwon; and 5-30mm on Ulleungdo and Dokdo.


In Honam and Jeju, some areas will receive more than 250mm of rain, and in Seoul, Incheon, southern Gyeonggi, inland Gangwon, Gangwon mountains, northern Chungcheong, western Gyeongnam, and the West Sea 5 islands, rainfall may exceed 150mm.

Heavy rain with hourly rainfall of 30-60mm is expected.


In the central region, heavy rain will mainly fall from daytime to nighttime on the 29th; in the southern region, from the afternoon of the 29th to daytime on the 30th; and in Jeju, very heavy rain will pour from morning to nighttime on the 30th.


The lowest temperature on the morning of the 29th is expected to be 21-25°C, and the highest temperature during the day will be 24-30°C.


The expected lowest and highest temperatures in major cities are Seoul 23°C and 25°C, Incheon 22°C and 25°C, Daejeon 24°C and 27°C, Gwangju 24°C and 27°C, Daegu 24°C and 30°C, Ulsan 23°C and 28°C, and Busan 23°C and 26°C.


From the night of the 29th, strong winds of 35-60 km/h (9-16 m/s) and waves 1.5-4.0 m high will occur in the East Sea offshore, the southern East Sea offshore, and the southern offshore of Jeju. Other offshore areas are expected to experience winds of 30-45 km/h (8-13 m/s) and waves 1.0-3.0 m high.
