Signed Business Agreement with Yumaek Air to Support K2 Rifles
Drone Command and Entire Military Deployment Planned
SNT Motive is set to develop a rifle aiming and shooting drone (Aim Rigle Drone) equipped with the K2 rifle, capable of remotely striking targets. The small aiming and shooting drones are scheduled to be deployed across the entire military, including the Drone Operations Command to be established in September.
On the 28th, SNT Motive announced that it signed a business agreement with domestic drone specialist company ‘UMAC Air’ to build a ‘Modular Armed Drone Bot System.’ SNT Motive will collaborate on drone propulsion and armament system technologies, while UMAC Air will contribute drone technology.

The drone developed by SNT Motive is an unmanned attack drone designed to remotely strike targets by mounting the K2 rifle supported by SNT Motive. It features a recoil absorption device and a 2-axis gimbal to minimize recoil and airframe shock caused by rifle firing. Its most notable feature is the high-performance optical camera video tracking system, enabling rapid target identification and precise aiming.
SNT Motive expects to contribute not only to the K-Defense export market by equipping pistols as well as the K2 rifles it produces in-house. At the ‘2023 Defense Industry Parts and Equipment Exhibition’ held at the end of this month, SNT Motive plans to showcase a variety of firearms, including the STC-16 submachine gun for special operations, K15 and K16 machine guns, and the STSM-21 submachine gun. The STSM-21 9mm submachine gun is a weapon being developed for special operations missions. The STSM-21 submachine gun features modular barrels and receivers for easy replacement. The magazine release button, selector lever, and charging handle are designed with left-handed shooters’ convenience in mind.
An SNT Motive official stated, "We will continue to contribute to enhancing future military combat power and lead the ‘K-Defense’ era through relentless technological development and production innovation, thereby continuously contributing to national wealth creation and national prestige through increased exports."
