"Someone Who Understands Me" Expresses Sentiment
Son Dong-woon (32), a member of the male group Highlight, is getting married.
His agency Around Us announced on the 27th, "Son Dong-woon will hold a wedding ceremony in September with a non-celebrity partner."
The date and location of the wedding have not been disclosed, and it will be held privately with only family and close acquaintances attending.
The agency also stated, "Son Dong-woon plans to continue his active activities as a Highlight member, singer-songwriter, and all-around entertainer even after marriage."
On the 27th, Son Dong-woon posted a handwritten letter on his social media (SNS), saying, "I met someone who understands and cares for me a lot, and I wanted to be with that person," and "I will hold the ceremony in September."
He added, "I will not forget my gratitude to everyone and will work several times harder than I have so far," and "I will repay your love with a more mature self."
Born in 1991, Son Dong-woon debuted in 2009 as a member of the group Beast (the predecessor of Highlight). As the youngest member of Highlight, he is the first among the members to announce his marriage.
