Jeonbuk Province Encourages 35th Division Soldiers in Honor of Month of Patriots and Veterans

Kim Gwan-young, Governor of Jeonbuk Province, visited the 35th Infantry Division (Division Commander Oh Hyuk-jae) to express his gratitude to the military personnel for their hard work in observance of the Month of Patriots and Veterans.

According to Jeonbuk Province on the 25th, key officials from both organizations attended a meeting at the reception room of the 35th Infantry Division. They comforted and encouraged the soldiers who protect freedom and the safety of the nation and its people through self-reliant defense.

Governor Kim said, “The soldiers of the 35th Division play a vital role as members of the local community by working hard for rapid recovery at various disaster and accident sites occurring within the province.”

Division Commander Oh responded, “We are always grateful for the province’s interest in the military, such as organizing exemplary soldier tours in Jeonbuk.”
