Han Seung-su (USA) shows the power of the Korean diaspora.

On the 25th, Han Seung-su completed a dominant 6-stroke victory (6-under 278) in the final 4th round of the 'National Title' Kolon 65th Korea Open (total prize money 1.4 billion KRW) held at Woosung Hills Country Club in Cheonan, Chungnam (Par 71, 7,326 yards), exchanging 4 birdies and 4 bogeys. It was a wire-to-wire win, maintaining the top position on the leaderboard for all four days. This is Han Seung-su's second career win in over three years since winning the KPGA Korean Tour LG Signature Players Championship in November 2020, with a winner's prize of 500 million KRW.

Han Seung-su is a promising player who made history as the youngest qualifier (14 years and 8 months old) to advance to the main draw of the 2001 US Amateur Championship. In 2002, he was named Player of the Year by the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA). That year, he won five AJGA events, breaking the teenage record of most wins (4) previously held by Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson (both USA). After topping the 2015 Japan Golf Tour Organization (JGTO) Qualifying School, he won the 2017 Casio World Open.

Veteran Kang Kyung-nam posted an even-par round to jump to 2nd place (even-par 284). KPGA Championship winner Choi Seung-bin made 3 strokes under par to finish strong in 3rd place (1-over 285). ‘Match King’ Lee Jae-kyung, who was 1 stroke behind in 2nd place the previous day, struggled with a 7-over round and dropped to a tie for 4th place (2-over 286). Defending champion Kim Min-gyu, Lee Dong-min, and Lee Jung-hwan also joined the group tied for 4th. Ham Jung-woo, Shin Sang-hoon, and Cho Min-gyu are tied for 9th place (3-over 287).
