Seocho District Council Begins Settlement Budget and Accounts Committee Activities

From the 21st, Budget and Accounts Committee Reviews the 2022 Fiscal Year Settlement

The Seocho District Council, currently conducting the 327th regular session, has formed the Budget and Accounts Special Committee (Chairman Yu Ji-woong) and begun reviewing the settlement of accounts and supplementary budget expenditures for the 2022 fiscal year.

Earlier, on the 15th, the council resolved the appointment of members to the Budget and Accounts Special Committee (Settlement Review).

The appointed members include Chairman Yu Ji-woong (photo), Vice-Chair Lee Eun-kyung, as well as council members Ko Seon-jae, Kim Seong-ju, Lee Hyun-sook, Oh Ji-hwan, Kang Yeo-jeong, Shin Jeong-tae, and Ha Seo-young.

The settlement amount to be reviewed by this committee is based on the 2022 fiscal year budget, including 1.8542 trillion KRW for the general account and 89 billion KRW for the special account. The council plans to complete the committee review by the 26th and make the final resolution at the 4th plenary session on the 27th.

Chairman Yu Ji-woong stated, “The settlement review is an important procedure that forms the foundation for future budget planning,” adding, “We will do our utmost to ensure the financial soundness and efficiency of Seocho District.”
