Flitto Launches Full-Scale AI Business Collaboration with Vietnam

AI language data company Flitto announced on the 22nd that it plans to focus on discussing AI business cooperation with Vietnamese companies during the economic delegation accompanying President Yoon Suk-yeol's visit to Vietnam. Flitto will attend official events such as the 'Korea-Vietnam Trade Consultation' and the 'Korea-Vietnam Business Forum' to meet key Vietnamese business representatives.

Since starting language data business cooperation with Vin Group, Vietnam's largest private company, in 2020, Flitto has been building Southeast Asian regional language data necessary for AI learning. It has been selected for the National Institute of the Korean Language's 'Korean-Foreign Language Parallel Corpus Construction Project' for three consecutive years. Flitto has led the construction of parallel corpora for a total of eight languages, including Vietnamese, Thai, Filipino Tagalog, and Indian Hindi.

Based on its proprietary AI engine and integrated platform, Flitto recently launched the 'Flitto Place' space translation service in Vietnam, which has already been adopted by major domestic department stores, famous restaurants, Jeju Tourism Organization, and the National Hangeul Museum. The service was introduced at Hanoi's most famous restaurant, 'Quan An Ngon,' and 'Xoi Com,' selected for the Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand. The digital convenience and excellent translation quality have received favorable reviews, leading to a continuous increase in service adoption inquiries within Vietnam. Through the activation of the Flitto Place service, Flitto plans to efficiently build data necessary for language AI, such as OCR (Optical Character Recognition) learning, multilingual translation, speech recognition, and chatbots.
