Deep Tech-TIPS is a newly established program designed to discover and support globally promising startups in new industry fields. Connective will receive 1.5 billion KRW in technology development funds over three years.

Connective was founded to address the lack of personalized medical care for patients with musculoskeletal disorders. The company possesses a system that links diagnosis through video-based AI technology and optical technology with the acquisition and learning of human body information, as well as treatment using robotic technology. During the selection process, the company explained that it was recognized for its excellence in the technical evaluation and was granted a fast track exemption from the second marketability evaluation. This is because its protocol extensively covers everything from diagnosis to treatment, indicating high applicability.

Through Deep Tech-TIPS, Connective plans to introduce AI and next-generation robotic technology into the medical field to build a super-large AI through vertical integration of data, models, and services. The goal is to provide a patient-customized AI-based comprehensive musculoskeletal solution covering diagnosis, surgery, and post-operative care.

Roduhyun Noh, CEO of Connective (Professor of Orthopedics at Seoul National University), said, "While many companies develop artificial joint surgical robots, there is currently no tool that integrates AI programs and robots throughout the entire cycle. We aim to become a company that plays a meaningful role in the next-generation surgical robot market."

Meanwhile, Connective was selected as the top company in the Early Startup Package project last year, hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development, and the Seoul National University Startup Support Group.
