Suwon-si Receives 'Positive Reviews' for Corporate Attraction Promotional Video... Introducing Various Support Measures

Promotional video for attracting businesses produced by Suwon City last April

The promotional video produced by Suwon City, Gyeonggi Province, to attract businesses is receiving positive responses.

Suwon City created the promotional video titled "Suwon Special City, a City Attracting the Future of Businesses," which introduces excellent infrastructure, business support policies, and more. The video has been broadcast on Suwon City's official YouTube channel since April.

The promotional video has recorded over 2,000 views and is well received. There are two versions: the main video lasting 1 minute and 43 seconds, and a 30-second version.

The video introduces Suwon City's business infrastructure, talented workforce, convenient transportation, business-related facilities such as Gwanggyo Technovalley and Knowledge Industry Centers, and outstanding living environment.

It also explains business attraction and support policies, including the Suwon Business Saebit Fund, incentives for attracted companies, and support for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Since the launch of the 8th term of the local government, Suwon City signed an investment agreement with SD Biosensor, which had sales of 3 trillion won in 2021. In March of this year, it signed an investment agreement with Focus HNS, the largest domestic artificial intelligence (AI) security monitoring solution company. In April, it signed an investment attraction agreement with Integris, a U.S.-based semiconductor comprehensive solutions company. Currently, negotiations are underway with a fourth company for investment attraction.

The Suwon Business Saebit Fund, with a scale of 100 billion won, will be launched in the second half of this year.

Suwon City has established a mandatory investment agreement requiring at least twice the amount of the capital contribution to be invested in Suwon businesses, expecting that excellent local companies will be discovered and investment will be activated.
