The National Pukyong National University Sports Promotion Center and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries Marine Talent Development Institute signed a business agreement on the afternoon of the 19th at the Safety Education Room on the 4th floor of the Pukyong University Water Leisure Center to strengthen education in the field of water safety.
Through this agreement, the two organizations agreed to promote education for water safety and increase mutual cooperation to revitalize marine leisure sports by expanding the base of marine leisure sports.

According to this agreement, projects will be promoted including ▲strengthening education and publicity to guarantee safe living zones at sea such as survival swimming ▲training specialized water rescue personnel for public safety such as water lifeguards ▲activating and expanding the base of various leisure sports such as skin diving.
In addition, they will cooperate in ▲building educational infrastructure linked to marine sports and sharing facilities and equipment ▲training professional marine sports instructors and jointly utilizing specialized personnel.
Pukyong National University, as a designated institution for water rescuer education, operates water rescuer training courses using the Water Leisure Center equipped with facilities such as swimming pools and diving pools, and is committed to creating a safe environment for water activities.
