The movie 'Crime City 3' surpassed 9 million viewers on its 21st day since release.
On the 20th, distributor ABO Entertainment announced that 'Crime City 3' (directed by Lee Sang-yong) recorded a cumulative audience of 9,018,121 as of 7:30 AM on the integrated ticketing system of the Korean Film Council.
The film, released on the 31st of last month, reached 1 million viewers on its first day, 2 million on the third day, 3 million on the fourth day, 5 million on the sixth day, 7 million on the eleventh day, and 8 million on the fourteenth day.
'Crime City 3,' which reached the 9 million mark in 21 days, did so one day later than 'Crime City 2,' released last year, and four days earlier than 'Parasite' (2019), which surpassed 10 million viewers.
Through the distributor, actors Ma Dong-seok, Lee Joon-hyuk, and Jeon Seok-ho expressed their gratitude holding a 9 million flower cake.
