Name Changed to Interpark Triple... New CI Unveiled
Activating K-Tourism through K-Content Integration and AI Technology
Interpark, having completed the merger and acquisition (M&A) process with travel and leisure platform Yanolja, is starting anew under the name 'Interpark Triple.' The company also expressed its ambition to serve as a lever to attract 50 million inbound tourists (foreign visitors to Korea) annually by promoting package products incorporating K-content and artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

On the 20th, Interpark held a 'Vision Declaration Media Day' at the Fairmont Ambassador Seoul in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, officially announcing the name change while unveiling a new corporate identity (CI). Interpark Triple is a combined name of Interpark and 'Triple,' a big data-based hyper-personalized platform merged last June. The company explained that the name reflects the vision to become a central travel company in K-tourism by covering both domestic and international travel markets through the collaboration of the two platforms.
Interpark Triple set a goal to surpass 50 million foreign visitors to Korea annually by 2028. This is a blueprint to support and exceed the government’s target of 30 million inbound tourists by 2027 and contribute to fostering Korea as a 'tourism powerhouse.'
As a detailed execution plan, Interpark will introduce K-package travel products that incorporate K-content such as performances, sports, and exhibitions it owns. The company plans to design segmented package products reflecting the characteristics of each country to expand inbound tourists, currently limited to some Asian countries, to the global market. Additionally, it will collaborate with Korea Airports Corporation and local governments to plan local government-specific packages linked to regional international airports such as Yangyang, Muan, and Cheongju. Utilizing AI technology, the company plans to provide a platform where tourists can prepare for their trip to Korea without searching and enjoy customized travel tailored by nationality and individual preferences with an AI guide anywhere in the country.
Previously, Yanolja acquired 70% of Interpark’s shares for 301.1 billion KRW in 2021, making it a subsidiary. Afterward, it filed a post-merger report with the Fair Trade Commission, which approved the corporate merger in March this year. Interpark Triple plans to build a global platform distributing country-specific travel content by combining the inventory (product listings) of Yanolja, Korea’s No.1 online travel agency (OTA), and the global network of Yanolja Cloud, a solution company.
Lee Su-jin, Yanolja’s CEO, said, "Interpark Triple is expected to play an important role in Yanolja’s leap to become a global 'travel tech' company," adding, "We plan to actively support opening the era of 50 million inbound tourists through the synergy of Yanolja, Yanolja Cloud, and Interpark Triple."
Choi Hwi-young, CEO of Interpark Triple, stated, "The newly reborn Interpark Triple will play a pivotal role for Korea as a tourism powerhouse based on its unique content competitiveness and travel-specialized innovative AI technology," and pledged, "We will become the 'center of K-travel' that introduces Korea’s charm to global customers with differentiated products and services never experienced anywhere else in the world."
