Eunpyeong-gu Seeks Life Experts on Grilling Meat and Secondhand Trading Tips

Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) is looking for experts with unique talents in daily life, such as selecting fresh seasonal vegetables, successful secondhand trading, and grilling meat by cut.

The district announced that it will operate the Hidden Experts Classroom "Gol Ttaerineun Gosudeul!" from this month until October. Local residents with secret tips in daily life will serve as instructors and conduct lectures on fresh topics beyond cultural and liberal arts courses.

Experts who participate will receive a modest activity fee and can feel rewarded by sharing their secrets with neighbors. The Eunpyeong-gu Lifelong Learning Center will support all necessary aspects for education, including lecture rooms and educational equipment.

Experts who wish to become instructors will be recruited every month from July to September, during the 1st to 7th. Applicants can refer to the notice on the Eunpyeong-gu Lifelong Learning Center website or scan the QR code attached to the promotional poster with their smartphones to apply.

Anyone with unique talents in daily life areas, such as grilling meat well, can apply. Applicants submit a program proposal, and experts are selected through a first-round document screening and a second-round non-face-to-face interview. Results are expected to be announced around the 20th.

The "Gol Ttaerineun Gosu" program will be held monthly until October. Any Eunpyeong-gu resident can attend for free. Each program offers up to two sessions, with each session lasting up to two hours.

Detailed information about the course opening will be released on the Eunpyeong-gu Lifelong Learning Center website.

The Eunpyeong-gu Lifelong Learning Center will support program promotion to recruit students and will monitor participant responses through satisfaction surveys afterward.

Kim Mi-kyung, Mayor of Eunpyeong-gu, said, "Anyone with their own secret tips in daily life, from grilling meat well to selecting fresh vegetables, can become a hidden expert," and added, "We hope many local residents with their own talents will show interest and participate."
