Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) conducted a "Campaign to Prevent Drunk Driving Accidents in School Zones" on the morning of the 16th in collaboration with Jungnang Police Station.
This campaign was organized to raise awareness about drunk driving and prevent accidents. The campaign took place in front of Sinhyeon Elementary School located in Sinnae-dong, with about 50 participants including Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi of Jungnang-gu, Jungnang Police Station, Catholic University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, Korea Transportation Safety Authority, Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education Eastern Support Office, Sinhyeon Elementary School, and the Model Drivers Association.
The district emphasized the dangers of drunk driving to local residents such as drivers on their way to work, parents and students on their way to school, and urged them to join efforts to eradicate drunk driving and promote a proper driving culture.
Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi of Jungnang-gu stated, “I hope this drunk driving prevention campaign served as a reminder to local residents about the dangers of drunk driving and became a step toward creating a safer Jungnang-gu.”
