Jungnang-gu, Intensive Safety Inspection for Major Safety Transition

April 17 to June 9: Intensive On-site Inspections of Safety-Vulnerable Facilities

A total of 86 sites inspected and identified issues to be promptly addressed

Jungnang-gu (District Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) has completed the "Great Safety Transformation of Korea, Intensive Safety Inspection."

To prevent safety accidents in the area, the district conducted inspections and identified risk factors across various facilities from April 17 through this month.

The inspections focused on blind spots where safety management is weak, such as small-scale facilities. To this end, in April, the district implemented a resident application system for facilities deemed in need of inspection.

A total of 86 sites were inspected, including 2 landslide-prone areas, 1 infant forest experience center, 6 traditional markets, and 5 district-run daycare centers. Facilities with identified issues will be promptly addressed to ensure thorough prevention of safety accidents.

Deputy Mayor Jeong Jin-woo participated in the on-site inspections, carefully examining safety hazards at each facility alongside experts from various fields, and urged strict safety management.

Ryu Gyeong-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, stated, “We will thoroughly inspect and manage facilities closely related to residents’ daily lives to prevent safety accidents. We will continue to do our best to create a safe city where people can live with peace of mind.”
