Hanwha Investment & Securities announced on the 19th that it has published the "2023 Sustainability Management Report," which contains its ESG management activities and achievements.
Since 2019, Hanwha Investment & Securities has been publishing an annual sustainability management report to communicate ESG management with various stakeholders. Under the ESG management strategic goal of "Expanding Sustainable Finance for a Better Future," the company has selected and is promoting climate change response (E), sustainable responsible management (S), and strengthening transparent governance (G) as the core ESG areas.
This report details ESG achievements and plans, including ▲protection of financial consumers' rights and interests ▲advancement of digital transformation ▲response to climate change ▲strengthening information security. The report enhanced the "ESG Fact Book," which explains Hanwha Investment & Securities' ESG management performance with quantitative data, thereby securing transparency in ESG disclosures.
Meanwhile, Hanwha Investment & Securities has been leading the protection of financial consumers' rights and interests, having obtained the "Consumer-Centered Management (CCM) certification" in 2018 and maintaining the certification to date. It also received the highest ESG rating of "AA (Excellent)" in 2022 from Sustainvest, an ESG evaluation agency.
