Kakao Games announced on the 19th that 'Eternal Return,' a PC online game developed by Nimble Neuron, a subsidiary of Neptune, and co-serviced by Kakao Games, will officially launch on July 20.
The official service name for 'Eternal Return' has been confirmed as 'Eternal Return 1.0.' Currently, Kakao Games and Nimble Neuron are focusing on enhancing the completeness of the official service version based on feedback accumulated during approximately two years of early access service.
On the 'Eternal Return' development log page, which was opened ahead of the official launch, information on various improvements and new content in areas such as 'Lumia Island' and 'Wildlife' is being disclosed weekly. The development log released on the 16th included an explanation of the 'Rank System,' which supports users in enjoying ranked games in more diverse ways.
Kakao Games and Nimble Neuron will continue to release information about ‘Eternal Return 1.0’ through the development log and maintain close communication with users until the official launch to build anticipation.
‘Eternal Return’ is a game that determines the last one or last team standing through various strategic battles. It has been serviced in early access form for the past two years, gaining positive responses with a peak concurrent user count of 50,000. Thanks to this, ‘Eternal Return’ won the ‘Popular Game Award’ at the ‘2021 Korea Game Awards’ and has received steady love even before the official launch, with many users participating in various online and offline events.
