A Mokpo Maritime Police official said, “Drunk navigation is a criminal act that threatens the lives and property of others,” and added, “We will do our best to establish maritime traffic order so that the public can safely enjoy the sea during the summer peak season.”
Meanwhile, prior to this special crackdown, from the 19th to the 30th, the maritime police will carry out publicity and guidance activities targeting maritime workers and the public to raise awareness of the dangers of drunk navigation and increase vigilance.
