The 'Relay Challenge,' which certifies donations, is also actively underway. Additionally, a card that offers extra accumulation benefits for participating in donations has surpassed 50,000 cumulative issuances just over two months after its launch, with steady growth in issuance volume.
According to the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation on the 22nd, the NH Hometown Love Donation Savings and Installment Savings, launched in January this year, recorded a total of 101,484 accounts as of the end of last month. In addition, NH Nonghyup Card launched the 'zgm.Gohyang-euro' card, a specialized card for the Hometown Love Donation Program, in April. It not only provides special NH points accumulation benefits to participants in the program but also offers various benefits when using local merchants to encourage consumption within hometown areas. Thanks to these benefits, the cumulative issuance exceeded 50,000 cards on the 8th, just over two months after its launch.
The Hometown Love Donation Program can be participated in online through the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's 'Hometown Love e-um' website. It is also possible to participate at payment counters for the Hometown Love Donation Program at more than 5,900 agricultural and livestock cooperatives and Nonghyup Bank branches nationwide.
Now in its sixth month since implementation, the Hometown Love Donation Program has expanded through participation from President Yoon Suk-yeol, former President Moon Jae-in, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Jeong Hwang-geun, Vice Minister of Strategy and Finance Choi Sang-dae, and others, followed by local government heads who donate and certify their participation through the 'Hometown Love Donation Relay Challenge.'
