Seoul’s Gangbuk-gu (District Mayor Lee Soon-hee) announced that it will operate the ‘Maintenance Project Academy’ on the 22nd for maintenance project stakeholders and general residents to ensure smooth and rational progress of housing maintenance projects.
The academy will be held at 2 PM on the 22nd in the Planning Situation Room on the 3rd floor of the Gangbuk-gu Office. At the academy, Kim Hak-joo, Director of the Korea Real Estate Board, will serve as the instructor and provide education on the maintenance project verification system, business feasibility management, union operation inspection, project management precautions, and overall matters and precautions related to union operations.
Citizens wishing to participate in the education can apply through the Gangbuk-gu website by the 20th or inquire at the Gangbuk-gu Redevelopment and Reconstruction Support Group. The lecture will also be posted on the Gangbuk-gu YouTube channel after the 22nd.
The district plans to operate the Maintenance Project Academy again in September this year, covering topics such as housing maintenance projects, redevelopment and reconstruction, rapid integrated planning, Moa Housing and small-scale housing maintenance projects, and station area projects. The education will be continuously supplemented and developed by reflecting the results of the training.
Lee Soon-hee, Mayor of Gangbuk-gu, said, “We plan to continuously conduct related education to support the capacity building of maintenance project stakeholders,” adding, “We hope that specialized education related to maintenance projects will be of great help to maintenance project unions, stakeholders, and interested residents.”
