RM, leader of the group BTS, shared his thoughts on their 10th anniversary at the 'BTS 10th Anniversary Festa' held on the afternoon of the 17th at Yeouido Hangang Park in Seoul.
At the event, where he served as the one-day DJ, RM expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thank you for being with BTS as young middle and high school students grew into working adults and members of society over the past 10 years."
The event was held to celebrate BTS's 10th anniversary since debut, attracting attention as BTS members were scheduled to appear in person. Considering safety concerns, only about 3,000 fans selected through a prior lottery were allowed entry to the venue.

RM read fans' stories and shared reflections on their activities so far and plans for the future. Responding to a fan who said they attended their first BTS concert at the Wembley Stadium in the UK, RM said, "Until the day we meet again at Wembley, I will keep fighting, work hard with the members, and live happily."
Regarding a question about his English skills, he said, "Honestly, if I hadn't become a member of BTS, I probably wouldn't have studied English this hard," adding, "There are many foreigners who work hard to learn Korean to understand what we are saying," and expressed sincere gratitude, knowing how difficult it is to learn a language.
He also hinted at his future plans by mentioning that he will soon enlist in the army in response to a fan who is a soldier. Finally, RM concluded the segment by making a surprise phone call with members Jungkook and V.

Meanwhile, the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the police are making every effort to manage the crowds expected at the 'BTS 10th Anniversary Festa,' which started in the afternoon. The organizers predicted that up to 750,000 people would gather around Yeouido.
From 2 p.m. on the day, Seoul city has fully restricted Yeouidong-ro from the southern end of Mapo Bridge to in front of the 63 Building, and in case of sudden crowd surges, subway Line 5's Yeouinaru Station may be passed without stopping or temporarily closed at its entrances and exits.
The police have also deployed about 630 traffic officers around the event site to ensure thorough crowd control.
