Rolls-Royce Motor Cars unveiled the brand's first-ever pure electric vehicle, the Spectre, for the first time in the Asia-Pacific region in South Korea on the 16th. The vehicle is scheduled for release in the second half of the year and will be delivered to customers sequentially starting from the fourth quarter of this year.
The vehicle revealed on-site is a bespoke model Crescendo specially made for the event. It features a finish in Chartreuse and Black Diamond colors inspired by French liqueur. The interior is adorned with 4,796 and 5,584 stars engraved on the doors and ceiling.
The front of the Spectre evokes the Phantom Coupe. It is equipped with the widest-ever Pantheon grille designed for smooth airflow and separated headlights. The Spirit of Ecstasy, which took 830 hours of design work, is also included. The width reaches 2 meters. The lower side is inspired by modern yacht design. It is the first mass-produced 2-door coupe model to feature 23-inch wheels.
The interior space features the first-ever digital bespoke instrument panel applied by Rolls-Royce. The digital function named Spirit is linked with vehicle function management and the Rolls-Royce Whispers application (app). Customers can interact with the car remotely or receive real-time information curated by the brand’s luxury experts.
The Spectre underwent the most demanding development process in Rolls-Royce history. It endured temperatures ranging from minus 40 degrees Celsius to plus 50 degrees Celsius and ran 2.5 million kilometers. The driving range is approximately 520 km based on WLTP standards. The maximum output is 430 kW with an instantaneous torque of 91.8 kg·m. It accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.
Consultations and orders for the Rolls-Royce Spectre are available at official Rolls-Royce Motor Cars showrooms nationwide, with a starting price (including VAT) from 622 million KRW.
