Xiaomi announced the launch of the ‘Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G’ and will hold a commemorative promotion from June 16 (Friday) to July 31 (Monday).
The product will be available for purchase through the official online malls of the three domestic mobile carriers: T Direct Shop, KT Shop, and U Shop. Additionally, it can be purchased through various sales channels including Xiaomi’s Naver Brand Store, 11st, Coupang, Gmarket, Auction, Interpark, Wemakeprice, Tmon, SSG Mall, LotteON, H Mall, Kakao Shopping, Compuzone, and A-Route Mall.
Furthermore, customers who purchase the new product will receive a Xiaomi air purifier ‘Mi Air 3H’ (valued at 169,000 KRW) as a gift.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G will be released in three colors: Gray, White, and Blue. It is equipped with a 200MP main camera, upgrading the camera performance to the highest level. It also features an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 16MP front camera.
Using Xiaomi’s proprietary image processing algorithms (State-of-the-art algorithms), the device automatically recognizes subjects such as people and animals and focuses accurately. It is equipped with a 7P lens featuring anti-glare coating and optical image stabilization (OIS), enabling clear shots even in dynamic moments.
For video recording, it offers seven classic movie filters, allowing users to shoot classic-style videos with pixel-level processing and real-time correction functions.
Additionally, it features a 6.67-inch P-OLED FHD+ display with a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. Powered by a flagship-level 4nm process and a Dimensity 1080 octa-core processor clocked up to 2.2GHz, it delivers excellent performance and vivid details. The design includes a 3D curved and slim flat rear tempered glass, combining luxury and comfort, while the front screen has a bezel reduced to 2.9mm, providing a wide display.
The built-in speakers at the top and bottom are dual speakers combined with Dolby Vision, a display quality and speaker sound optimization feature, delivering vivid realism. The Xiaomi proprietary Vapor Chamber cooling system prevents smartphone overheating, offering excellent heat control and helping the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus operate stably. The device also includes a large 5,000mAh battery and supports Korea’s first 120W turbo charging, charging over 50% in about 9 minutes.
During the launch promotion period, Xiaomi will gift the Mi Air 3H air purifier to buyers. The Mi Air 3H is equipped with a TrueHEPA filter that removes 99.97% of 0.3-micron particles.
Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 12 series consists of three models. On May 4, the ‘Redmi Note 12’ and ‘Redmi Note 12 Pro’ were released. The newly launched ‘Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G’ is the top-tier model among the three.
