Lotte World Adventure Busan will open the season of the program ‘City Vacance & Water’ on the 16th, which blows away the heat trapped in the hot city.
City Vacance & Water is an exciting summer season held in the city, featuring a new water parade performance and seasonal food and beverage products. The event will run for a total of 73 days from the 16th to August 27.
This season introduces a refreshing ‘Cooling Parade’ with a story about a commotion to cool down the heated Lotte World Adventure Busan due to the heat.
First, two parade vehicles and all the performers’ costumes were newly produced to match the theme of the performance.
The parade vehicle ‘Discovery,’ which resembles a ship, 36 performers transformed into sailors, and about 260 water devices will soak everyone and provide a refreshing enjoyment.
Also, this performance is characterized by being completed with guest participation. The main parade performance held in front of Rory Castle is completed as guests shoot water guns directly at buckets installed on the parade vehicles, making them pour water, and dance easily to exciting pop music.
The Cooling Parade will be held every day at 2 p.m. during the City Vacance & Water season, except Tuesdays, replacing the ‘Lottis Magic Forest Parade.’
In addition, for guests who felt it was not enough to enjoy water play in the Cooling Parade, ‘Water Pang Pang’ will be held, where parade vehicles and performers appear again to enjoy another water gun fight.
The Bris Band, which used to play wind instruments, transforms into a tropical band playing refreshing and exciting percussion instruments for the summer season. The performance takes place at the Garden Stage, and detailed performance schedules can be checked on the website.
During the City Vacance & Water season, ‘Waterground,’ where guests can freely enjoy water gun fights, will also be operated. Waterground, prepared on a 420㎡ site around Giant Splash, is a water play area where up to 70 people can participate simultaneously.
Water guns are also rented free of charge, allowing families, friends, and couples to enjoy water gun fights without burden and spend the hot summer coolly.
Along with the parade and water gun fights, two attractions that cool down the heat with refreshing water sprays are also popular.
Giant Splash, the first and only water coaster in Korea, is an attraction where you can enjoy thrilling excitement like a combination of a Viking ship and a roller coaster, experiencing three accelerations forward and backward at a top speed of 100 km/h.
In particular, the water spray created by rapidly descending from a 45m height along a waterway containing 2,000 tons of water spreads up to 20m ahead.
Augus Hroom is an attraction where you can enjoy both atmosphere and thrill. Riding a six-person boat along a 427m rail, you will experience two drop sections.
Lotte World Adventure Busan emphasized that the view of Busan’s front sea and the theme park from 19.8m above ground before the second drop section, which descends at a top speed of 65 km/h, is an unmissable viewing point.
Various seasonal limited menus will also be released at food and beverage stores within the park. Recently popular on SNS, large-sized pearl ice cream is released in two sizes, ‘Big (260g)’ and ‘Giant (380g),’ so that adults can also enjoy it.
Also, a total of 16 seasonal menus such as ‘Watermelon Juice,’ ‘Ice Cream Hot Dog,’ ‘Hawaiian Pizza Drowned in the Sea,’ and ‘Cold Chinese Noodles’ can be enjoyed. At the main merchandise store ‘Rory’s Emporium’ located at the park’s main gate, 49 summer season products, including water guns necessary for participating in the Cooling Parade, are sold.
