Hwasun-gun Promotes 'Namdo Accommodation Discount BIG Event'

Travel in Hwasun and Get Discounts on Accommodation Fees

Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 12th that it is recruiting tourists to participate in the Namdo Accommodation Discount BIG Event from the 7th until December 15th in celebration of the Year of Visit Jeonnam.

The Namdo Accommodation Discount BIG Event is a program that offers partial discounts on accommodation fees when using designated lodging facilities.

The discount amounts are 40,000 KRW for accommodation fees of 100,000 KRW or more, 30,000 KRW for fees of 70,000 KRW or more, and 20,000 KRW for fees less than 70,000 KRW.

Tourists residing outside of Gwangju and Jeollanam-do can choose one of the designated accommodations in Hwasun-gun, make a reservation in advance, and submit an application form to the Hwasun-gun Tourism Promotion Division via email or Naver form by the day before their trip.

The discount benefit is available once per person. Tourists confirmed as event participants must submit their accommodation receipt to the lodging facility and sign the discount claim form to receive the accommodation fee discount.

An official from the county stated, “We encourage everyone to actively use the accommodation discount event to visit major tourist attractions such as Hwasun Jeokbyeok, Dolmen Historic Site, and Unjusa Temple, and to be sure to attend the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage ‘Hwasun Dolmen Festival’ held in October.”
