KT has officially launched the Surface Pro lineup for the first time. On the 12th, KT announced, "We will exclusively release Microsoft’s (MS) ‘Surface Pro 9 5G’ on the official online mall ‘KT Shop (shop.kt.com)’."
5G Available Anywhere Without Wi-Fi
The ‘Surface Pro 9 5G’ is a laptop made by MS. It is a 2-in-1 premium laptop suitable for fast multitasking and work purposes. Even without Wi-Fi, users can insert the corresponding SIM card to access 5G data anytime and anywhere. Additionally, the detachable keyboard allows it to combine the performance of a laptop with the portability of a tablet.

Limited First-Come, First-Served Launch Event
The official KT Shop price is 1,758,000 KRW (including VAT). By subscribing to KT’s smart device plans (5G), customers can purchase it at a reasonable price through official subsidies. The smart device plans (5G) include ‘5G Data Together,’ ‘5G Smart Device 14GB,’ and ‘5G Smart Device 28GB.’ The 5G Data Together plan is provided free of charge to customers using 5G Special plans or higher. This plan allows sharing of up to 3GB of monthly data along with smartphone data (up to 100GB).
Meanwhile, to commemorate the launch, three gifts (Surface Pro 9 exclusive keyboard, 13-inch laptop pouch, USB Type-C multi-hub) will be provided to the first 150 customers on a first-come, first-served basis. Kim Byung-kyun, Executive Director of KT’s Device Business Division, said, "KT is the first to offer a new 2-in-1 type 5G laptop through the Surface Pro 9 5G. We will continue to launch products that provide satisfying experiences and value to customers in the digital world."
