Seunghui Lee, Mayor of Gangbuk-gu, Seoul, prepared and packed healthy side dishes at the 'Elderly Food Sharing' event held at the Red Cross Gangbuk Volunteer Sharing Center on the 9th.
The mayor said, "The love of volunteers makes the community healthy and a better place to live," adding, "We will continue to actively support volunteer activities that care for neighbors in need to create a warm city full of sharing."
On this day, the Gangbuk District Council of the Korean Red Cross Volunteer Association personally visited 130 elderly households in vulnerable groups and delivered healthy side dishes and fruits.
