‘KBS National Singing Contest Dobong-gu Edition’… Dobong-gu’s ‘Excitement’ Unstoppable Despite Inclement Weather
Oh Eon-seok, Mayor of Dobong-gu, Enthusiastically Sings ‘Bulnoriya’
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok), the public recording of the ‘KBS National Singing Contest Dobong-gu Edition,’ held for the first time in six years, took place at Darakwon Sports Park at 3 p.m. on June 10.
On this day, 15 teams who passed the first and second preliminary rounds on June 8 advanced to the finals and showcased their hidden talents and singing skills. Comedienne Kim Shin-young hosted the event, while invited singers Park Sang-chul, Bae Il-ho, Kim Su-chan, and Lee Hye-ri graced the stage.
In his greeting, Mayor Oh Eon-seok said, “I thank all the officials who worked hard to prepare the stage despite the bad weather and the residents who stayed until the end,” and added, “Everyone participating today is a hidden star of Dobong-gu, so please don’t be nervous and freely express your talent and abilities.”
Following this, Mayor Oh energized the recording site by passionately singing ‘Bulnoriya.’
