Sales of Greek Yogurt, Ttungkareong, and More Significantly Increase
Homeplus announced on the 11th that sales of premium dessert items increased by 265% compared to the same period last year.
According to Homeplus's online customer consumption data, from May 1 to June 7, sales of dessert items increased by 31% compared to the same period last year, while sales of premium dessert items such as bakery and yogurt surged by 265%. In particular, sales of Greek yogurt and Ddungcaron, launched to capture the hearts of the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z), showed significant growth.

With the popularity of 'Zero' fermented milk, which reduces sweetness for health, sales of two types of Yojeum Greek Yogurt released in March increased by 61% compared to the first week. Since its launch in March, 200,000 units of 'Neoldam Ddungcaron' have been sold within 10 weeks, and Homeplus Montblanc's 'Fresh Cream Bomb Red Bean Bread,' introduced last month, surpassed 130,000 units in cumulative sales within a month.
A Homeplus representative said, "Riding on the popularity of premium desserts targeting health and taste, we are expanding our product lineup to broaden customer experience," adding, "By introducing differentiated products by category, we will create a new dessert trend in large supermarkets."
