The Ministry of National Defense of T?rkiye announced that an explosion took place at the MKE missile and explosives manufacturing factory in the Elmada? area of Ankara that morning.
The Ministry stated, "Five employees died due to the explosion," and added, "An investigation into the cause of the explosion is underway."
Several fire trucks and ambulances were dispatched to the scene, and the shock from the explosion shattered the windows of nearby shops and houses.
T?rkiye's NTV broadcast reported that upon hearing the news of the explosion, the families of the employees rushed to the site to check on their loved ones' safety.
