On the same day, the Board of Audit and Inspection made this announcement in a text message sent to the press corps after the CEC stated it would accept the audit by the Board of Audit and Inspection only concerning allegations of preferential hiring of children.

However, the Board of Audit and Inspection stated that "the scope of the audit is a matter for the Board of Audit and Inspection to decide," indicating that it does not accept the CEC's expression of 'partial acceptance of the audit.'

Regarding the fact that the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission began a full investigation into CEC hiring from the 1st, the Board of Audit and Inspection said, "We plan to cooperate to proceed without overlapping with the investigation already underway by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission."

The Board of Audit and Inspection also added, "Since the CEC has accepted the audit, there are currently no plans to request an investigation related to refusal of the audit or similar matters."
