At the meeting, YGPA urged the safe operation of the Expo Passenger Terminal during the peak summer season and collected users' opinions and difficulties regarding terminal operations, including facility improvements.

In particular, a Hanil Express official proposed expanding the access road to secure the movement paths of passengers and vehicles, which resonated with the attendees, leading to a conclusion to address this issue with mid- to long-term solutions.

The Expo Passenger Terminal was used by approximately 97,000 people in 2021, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the number of users increased by about 79% to approximately 174,000 in 2022, with steady growth expected in the future.

Jung Ha-su, head of the Yeosu branch, said, “We will continue to actively communicate with shipping companies and logistics firms to ensure the safety and convenience of Expo Passenger Terminal users and do our best to enhance user satisfaction at the terminal.”
