This stage features performers pairing musical works themselves and newly interpreting the hidden musical flows between them. The piano duo ShinPark will present dance pieces that blossomed in 19th-century Europe. The program includes works by Brahms, Leger, Faur?, and Bizet, all composed in the 1800s, a crucial period not only in piano history but also in the piano duo repertoire.

The piano was professionally improved under the rapid industrial development in 19th-century Europe, taking its current form and becoming widely distributed mainly among middle-class households. As piano education for refinement and performances for entertainment flourished, the repertoire of piano solo works expanded, along with a vast collection of piano duo pieces.

This concert features dance forms such as the L?ndler and waltz, as well as titles evoking childhood memories like Children's Charge, Children's Scenes, and Children's Play. The piano duo ShinPark will perform four-hand pieces with two performers sitting side by side at one piano, delivering lively harmonies created by four hands.

Formed in 2013 by pianists Shin Mijeong and Park Sangwook, the piano duo ShinPark grew into a professional piano duo under the guidance of Hanspeter Stenzl and Volker Stenzl, brothers who were the world's first appointed piano duo professors.

In 2015, they won 2nd place at the ARD International Music Competition in Germany, the world's most prestigious piano duo competition, and in 2016, they became the first Asians to win the Monaco Piano Duo Competition.

In 2017, they gained worldwide recognition by winning the Czech Schubert International Competition unanimously. Currently, they are actively performing based in Vienna, Austria. In 2021, they expanded their audience by releasing their first album 'HADA' under Universal Music.
