On the 8th, the Hwasun Police Station in Jeonnam held a regular meeting attended by 11 members of the Hwasun-gun Autonomous Police Working Committee to discuss cooperation measures for community safety, the police announced on the 9th.
The Autonomous Police Working Council is a consultative body for the smooth execution of autonomous police affairs and cooperation and coordination between related organizations.
Hwasun-gun enacted related ordinances last year, and in March of this year, the Hwasun Police Station, Hwasun-gun Office, and Hwasun Office of Education collaborated to form the Hwasun-gun Autonomous Police Working Council.
At the meeting, the working council discussed cooperation measures among related organizations regarding the enactment of ordinances for crime prevention in the community and prevention of human rights violations and crime damage against persons with disabilities, youth protection measures, and the introduction of unmanned enforcement equipment to reduce traffic accidents.
Lee Chang-yeol, Director of the Public Safety Division, stated, “We will strive to identify community issues and prepare response measures, and solve problems through close cooperation between organizations to create a safe living environment for the residents of Hwasun-gun.”
