20s Male Caught Secretly Filming High School Girl in High School Bathroom

A man in his 20s who illegally filmed a high school girl in a high school restroom was arrested by the police.

The Muan Police Station in Jeonnam announced on the 9th that they have booked and are investigating a man in his 20s, Mr. A, without detention on charges of illegally filming a high school girl in a high school restroom (violation of the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Crimes, etc.) on the 8th.

Mr. A is suspected of secretly filming a high school student, Ms. B (16), who was using the restroom at a girls' restroom in a high school in Muan-eup, Muan-gun, Jeonnam, at around 10:35 a.m. the previous day.

Mr. A was caught in the act by the police following reports from students who sensed something suspicious, and photos of Ms. B were found on the confiscated mobile phone.

Police investigations revealed that Mr. A has a prior record of attempting the same crime but failing.

The police plan to request an arrest warrant.
