The Korea Tourism Interpretation Guide Association (KOTGA, hereinafter referred to as the Association) announced on Friday the 9th that it conducted linked training for the special exhibition "Stories of Our Presidents - Here Were the Presidents" currently being held at the Blue House.
In the linked training for the exhibition held to commemorate the first anniversary of the Blue House opening, tourism interpretation guides took job training to promote the Blue House, which has become a K-tourism landmark, to foreign tourists.
This job training, held four times over a month starting June 9, allows participants to not only view the special exhibition but also see some of the restored original appearance of the Blue House. Park In-sook, president of the Korea Tourism Interpretation Guide Association, who participated as a trainee in the first session, said, "It was impressive to approach the lives of past presidents from a unique perspective through the 'Here Were the Presidents' special exhibition. The Blue House is a symbolic place where our political history, culture, and history are intertwined. We will do our best on the front lines of tourism to make the Blue House a must-visit place for foreign tourists visiting Korea and to establish it as a landmark of K-tourism."
