Discontinuation of Media Electronics and Ice Pack Collection
Implementation of Upcycling Programs, etc.
The Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) announced on the 9th that it conducted a participatory campaign from the 5th to the 9th to promote carbon neutrality (Net-Zero) practices and enhance environmental awareness among its employees. The campaign was held to coincide with World Environment Day on the 5th.

KISA employees collected waste media electronics and ice packs, donating the waste media electronics to local self-sufficiency centers and the ice packs to the Naju Moksagoeul Market. Additionally, to eliminate the use of disposable bags, they held a ‘Giant Yarn Bag Making Experience’ and also conducted an ‘Upcycling Program’ in which employees and their children participated together.
Shin Han-cheol, Head of KISA’s Innovation Strategy Team, stated, “KISA will continue to promote environmental protection as a daily practice and actively implement ESG management by preparing various programs that employees can participate in together.”
