Huons Launches Health Functional Food 'Myeon-yeok Immune Probiotics' on TV

Global total healthcare company Huons (CEO Song Soo-young, Yoon Sang-bae) announced on the 9th that it will launch the health functional food for immune health, ‘Immune Immune Probiotics,’ on GS Home Shopping at 8:20 a.m. on the 10th, marking the first TV home shopping launch.

‘Immune Immune Probiotics,’ designed by Huons for the immune health of the whole family, contains the individually recognized ingredient ‘weissella cibaria JW15.’ ‘weissella cibaria JW15’ was recognized as an individually approved ingredient by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety in 2022 and is a strain entrusted to the Agricultural Genetic Resources Center of the National Institute of Agricultural Sciences.

In particular, the main ingredient ‘weissella cibaria JW15’ is an immune-functional probiotic as of June 2023, capable of managing both innate immunity and acquired immunity. Immunity is broadly divided into innate immunity and acquired immunity. Innate immunity refers to the primary immune response that immediately and directly destroys virus-infected cells or cancer cells in the body, with natural killer (NK) cells being a representative example. In addition, acquired immunity selectively removes specific invaders and acts as the ultimate resolver of immunity, with immunoglobulins G, M, and A present.

‘weissella cibaria JW15’ underwent human application tests on more than 80 Korean adult men and women, showing significant increases in innate immunity markers such as NK cell activation and cytokine IL-1ß. Additionally, a significant increase in acquired immunity marker immunoglobulin G1 (Ig-G1) was confirmed.

‘Immune Immune Probiotics’ is a health functional food that can help immune function by taking one capsule a day. It contains 10 billion CFU of ‘weissella cibaria JW15’ probiotics and uses a plant-based capsule instead of bovine or porcine gelatin. The product packaging is in Alu-Alu PTP form, which reduces probiotic death caused by light, moisture, heat, and oxidation, and is hygienic and easy to store.
