Daum·Kakao Mail Revamp... "Easier Email Address Switching"

Kakao announced on the 9th that DaumCIC has revamped the Daum Mail and Kakao Mail services. They enhanced mail usability by adding various convenience features and applying a design that allows users to focus on their emails.

The screen design of Daum Mail and Kakao Mail has been changed. The overall design was unified, icons and text were made clearer, and menu spacing was widened to improve usability. A dark mode for visually impaired users is also provided. There are plans to improve accessibility in the future so that people with disabilities can use the mail services more conveniently.

A mail address switching feature between Daum Mail and Kakao Mail was also added. When using both Daum Mail and Kakao Mail with a single Kakao account, users can easily switch between the two mailboxes from the top left of the PC webmail screen and the bottom of the mobile webmail screen.

Kakao Mail mobile webmail service is also provided. Previously, Kakao Mail could be accessed via PC webmail and the KakaoTalk More tab on mobile, but now Kakao Mail can be used on various mobile browsers as well. Additionally, a scheduled sending feature has been introduced within Kakao Mail. Users can check ‘Scheduled Send’ at the bottom of the mail composition screen and set the desired sending time.
